After my third and final marathon of the year (a couple of weeks ago) I started a 30 Day Bikram Yoga Challenge. I'm on Day 10 and while its been tough mentally and physically,I'm really glad I've put running on the back burner for now. Plus, in 10-12 days on the challenge I've lot 4 full pounds. My plan is to finish out this challenge (it goes until Nov 23rd) and then focus on yoga 4 days a week, running 3 (15-20 miles), and kettlebelling 2-3. I do not see sticking to it all the way since some of the workouts are over an hour but I hope to find a few work outs I like and fit them in. It was actually a tough challenge outside my comfort zone (that plyometrics workout never got easy!). I do think a lot of the big results are from combining the workouts with the rather strict food plan, so maybe you could apply the diet part through your training and see if that gets the effect you want?jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12912676758384794239noreply@blogger.com
